We provide medical and dental care, with additional specialists in Chiropractic, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Pediatrics, Psychology, Podiatry and Optometry. ACHC Clinics are located across Fresno, Kings and Tulare counties.  The Clinic Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) clinic. This entry-level supervisory role that ensures efficient workflows, supports staff and providers, and promotes high-quality patient experience. Acting as the on-site point of contact for operational issues, the supervisor collaborates with the Clinic Operations Manager and other department leadership to promote a positive work environment, implement performance improvement initiatives, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.   Key Responsibilities   Clinic Operations •    Oversee front desk, scheduling, patient registration, and overall clinic flow. •    Ensure accurate documentation, billing, and records management. •    Monitor inventory and coordinate ordering and restocking supplies. •    Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinic environment.   Staff Coordination & Leadership •    Support onboarding and training of new staff. •    Assign daily tasks and ensure adequate coverage across roles. •    Provide real-time coaching and feedback to team members. •    Foster teamwork, accountability, and a positive work culture. •    Conduct daily huddles and weekly team check-ins.   Provider & Patient Support •    Serve as a liaison between providers and administrative staff. •    Address patient concerns and escalate issues as needed. •    Monitor patient satisfaction and contribute to service improvements.   Compliance & Performance •    Ensure adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, State and Federal laws, and ACHC policies. •    Participate in internal audits and readiness activities. •    Track operational metrics and report to the Clinic Operations Manager. •    Assist with implementing corrective action plans and quality initiatives.   Administrative Duties •    Manage time-off requests, punch change requests and review timecards for accuracy. •    Review and reconcile daily deposits (cash/check) and ensure accuracy. •    Complete facility and safety checklists; submit maintenance requests. •    Review schedules, pre-registration worklists, and confirmation lists. •    Manage email and calendar priorities; respond to messages promptly. •    Schedule and lead monthly team meetings.   Role-Specific Duties •    If Supervisor is a Medical Assistant: perform MA responsibilities, per job description. •    If Supervisor is a Front Office Receptionist: perform front office responsibilities, per job description. •    Perform other duties as assigned.   QualificationsEducation & Experience •    High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred. •    Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical office or clinic setting. •    Prior supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred.   Skills & Attributes •    Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards. •    Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. •    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. •    Proficiency in EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite. •    Ability to lead by example and foster an inclusive environment. •    Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement.   PHYSICAL/COGNITIVE REQUIREMENTS The physical and cognitive demands listed below represent essential functions of this position and are required with or without reasonable accommodation: •    Hearing: Sufficient to engage with patients and staff in person and by telephone. •    Speaking: Clear verbal communication to convey medical and operational information. •    Vision: Visual acuity adequate for reading printed materials and viewing electronic screens. •    Cognitive Abilities: Aptitude to complete tasks, including abilities such as learning, remembering, focusing, categorizing, and integrating information for decision-making, problem-solving, and comprehending. •    Motor Function & Mobility: •    Ability to move within the work environment to complete tasks and interact with others. •    Occasional lifting and carrying of items up to 10 pounds without assistance. •    Frequent standing, sitting, bending, reaching, and other movements typical of a standard workday. •    Regular use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, operating tools or equipment, and handling materials. •    Some pushing and pulling required during daily tasks.   BENEFITS •    403(B) matching •    Medical Insurance •    Dental Insurance •    Vision Insurance •    Life Insurance •    Paid Holidays •    Vacation Pay •    Sick Pay   EEO STATEMENT: Aria Community Health Center is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate in employment on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), national origin, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, genetic information, age, membership in an employee organization, retaliation, parental status, military service, or other non-merit factor.
