Job DetailsJob Location: Triple C Trucking, Inc. - HANFORD, CA 93230Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $25.00 - $30.00 HourlyWe are seeking a skilled Level II Diesel Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will take on more complex diagnostics and repairs while mentoring Level I mechanics. Your experience will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and safety of our fleet. Daily Responsibilities: Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on diesel engines and related systems. Conduct thorough routine maintenance and inspections, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Oversee and mentor Level I mechanics and apprentices, providing training and support. Lead the identification and resolution of mechanical issues, improving overall shop efficiency. Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding repair needs and progress. Ensure the work area is safe, organized, and equipped with the necessary tools and equipment. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance repair processes and team performance. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in diesel mechanics preferred. Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic. Level II certification in diesel mechanics or equivalent experience. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, fuel systems, electrical systems, and hydraulics. Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong leadership skills. Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred. Physical Requirements: Perform physical tasks, including climbing, standing, sitting, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and crouching. Ability to lift heavy equipment up to 80 lbs.
