About the Role:
Join Love and Learning Child Care as a School Age Program Guide, where you can inspire and engage children in a fun and educational environment! We are looking for passionate individuals to help shape the experiences of school-aged children in our Coalville, UT center.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and creativity.
- Supervise and support children during playtime, ensuring safety and positive interactions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and staff.
- Assist with homework and educational projects, fostering a love for learning.
- Monitor and document children's progress and behavior, providing feedback as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to create a nurturing and inclusive environment.
- Participate in field trips that enhance the educational experience.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in education or child development preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children in a childcare or educational setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and families.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willing to obtain.
- Passion for child development and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- 18yrs or older and pass a Background check clearance as required by state regulations.
