Healthcare United is seeking a Pulmonary Critical Care Physician for a full-time, permanent opportunity near Hannibal, Missouri.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established pulmonary and critical care program serving patients across Western Illinois, Northeast Missouri, and Southeast Iowa. The incoming physician will work alongside experienced providers in a supportive setting with strong referral resources, a broad patient base, and long term practice growth potential.

The position includes a mix of outpatient pulmonology, inpatient critical care coverage, bronchoscopy, procedural pulmonary care, and regional outreach a few days per month. This opportunity is ideal for a physician who enjoys both clinic based pulmonary medicine and hospital based ICU care, with the ability to grow interventional pulmonary volume over time.

Compensation is highly competitive and expected to be in the upper $400K range with potential into the $500K+ range, depending on experience, productivity, schedule, and final structure. The surrounding area offers affordable living, strong schools, outdoor recreation, and convenient access to Hannibal, St. Louis, Kansas City, and Chicago.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine

• Board Eligible candidates considered if recently out of fellowship

• Active or eligible Illinois medical license

• Bronchoscopy experience required

• Interest or experience in interventional pulmonary procedures preferred

• Comfortable with outpatient pulmonology and inpatient ICU coverage

• Willingness to participate in regional outreach a few days per month

• Strong clinical skills, communication skills, and team oriented approach
