Leonhardt Manufacturing is looking for an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator to join our first-shift manufacturing team in Hanover, PA.
This position is ideal for an operator who is comfortable working from prints, performing machine setups, selecting tooling, and making the adjustments necessary to produce parts to specification.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Press Brake Operator at Leonhardt, you'll be responsible for setting up and operating CNC press brake equipment to manufacture formed metal components.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up and operating CNC press brakes
- Reading blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Selecting and installing the correct tooling for each job
- Making setup and machine adjustments as needed
- Checking dimensions and verifying parts meet print requirements
- Using calipers, protractors, height gauges, and other measuring equipment
- Working with steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Identifying and correcting setup or forming issues
- Maintaining an organized and safe work area
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with hands-on press brake experience who understands the importance of producing a quality part.
Qualified candidates should have:
- CNC press brake operating and setup experience
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing blueprints
- Experience using standard measuring and inspection equipment
- Working knowledge of basic shop math
- Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing team

Preferred
- 2+ years of CNC press brake experience.
- Experience with bend deductions and forming calculations.
- Experience working with steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Experience troubleshooting machine setups.
- Manufacturing certifications are a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Frequently lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift.
- Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive tasks.
