CNC Press Brake Operator - 1st Shift

Leonhardt Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our first-shift team. If you have experience setting up and operating CNC press brakes, reading blueprints, and producing high-quality parts, we'd like to talk with you.

You'll work with a team committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement while manufacturing precision components for leading OEM customers across a variety of industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC press brake machines.
• Read blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
• Select and install tooling for a variety of jobs.
• Perform machine setups and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, protractors, height gauges, and other measuring equipment.
• Verify parts meet print specifications and required tolerances.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment clean.
• Troubleshoot minor production and machine issues.
• Work with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.

Required

• Experience setting up and operating CNC press brakes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience using measuring equipment, including calipers.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining quality and productivity.

Preferred

• 3+ years of CNC press brake experience.
• Experience with bend deductions and forming calculations.
• Experience working with steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Experience troubleshooting machine setups.
• Manufacturing certifications are a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Frequently lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift.
• Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive tasks.
