Title: Greeter/Cashier

The Greeter/Cashier is the face of Sullivan's Castle Island. Following our customer experience defined process, the position requires a responsibility to always exude hospitality and kindness towards our guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet and engage customers creating a positive first & last impression
• Let management know with urgency of any guest issue, food/product issue, or facility issue.
• Take guest's order, handling cash and credit card transactions
• Know our menu completely and accurately to answer guest's questions
• Serve guests and accommodate any requests
• Prepare front of the house food and beverage items quickly and accurately
• Keep front of the house clean and well stocked
• May include expediting food orders and light dishwashing

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Work as team player, committed to an outstanding guest experience every time
• Ability to do basic math while handling and counting cash
• Ability to work morning, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Dependable, punctual, strong work ethic with customer centric focus
• Ability to speak and read basic English and perform physical demands of the position

Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the United States

Work Environment/Physical Demands: This position operates in a quick service restaurant/kitchen environment. Any role routinely uses sinks and dishwashers and tools to clean kitchen appliances. Employees are exposed to hot water, potentially slippery floors, and cleaning chemicals. Regularly required to talk or hear, frequently required to: stand, walk, bend, lift products, use hands to hold, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms. Must possess hand-eye coordination.
