About the RoleĀ 

We are seeking a skilled Account Manager to join our dynamic Insurance teamin Whippany, NJ.

Key Responsibilities IncludeĀ 

  • Serve as primary day-to-day client contact; Manage client service needs; Present custom solutions to clients and prospects in a clear and professional mannerĀ 

  • Communicate client needs to account management team and coordinate client services, including but not limited to:Ā 

  • Claims reviewsĀ 

  • Insurance trainingĀ 

  • Kick of meetingsĀ 

  • Stewardship meetingsĀ 

  • Renewal strategy meetingsĀ 

  • Analyze client risk profile and develop marketing strategy with team and clientĀ 

  • Analyze all client documents (including quotes, binders, policies, endorsements), recommending changes or amendments for improvementĀ 

  • Cultivate local carrier relationships to support company visibility and credibility in the construction insurance marketplaceĀ Ā 

  • Participate in off-site carrier, client, and prospect meetings as requiredĀ 

  • Conduct research, compiles information into presentation formatĀ 

  • Assist with training and overseeing Account AssociatesĀ Ā 

  • Review, analyze, process and follow-up with clients regarding:Ā 

  • Complex endorsementsĀ 

  • Subcontractor certificate/endorsementsĀ 

  • Policy auditsĀ 

  • Notices of cancellationĀ 

  • Invoice collectionsĀ 

  • Unit stat cardsĀ 

  • Final renewal letter requestĀ 

  • Final proposal of insuranceĀ 

  • Renewal exposureĀ 

  • Coverage quotesĀ 

  • Proposals of insuranceĀ 

  • Premium finance quotes and agreementsĀ 

  • Certificate checklist and special account handling instructionsĀ 

  • Client claim reviewsĀ 

  • Fee agreementsĀ 

  • Premium allocationsĀ 

  • Experience modification analysis and projectionsĀ 

  • Bind insurance coverages, address binding subjectivities, and convert proposals of insurance to summaries of insurance post bindingĀ 

  • Conduct in-depth data analyses (Exposures, losses, premiums, rates, collateral, mod, deductible levels)Ā Ā 

  • Identify key individuals within the client's organization and build and maintain effective and sustainable relationshipsĀ 

  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients and industry partners to ensure a high-level of customer service.Ā Ā 

  • Provide backup for other team members during their absenceĀ 

  • Maintain insurance license & CE requirementsĀ 

  • Additional responsibilities as requiredĀ 

Skills & Experience That Lead to Success:Ā

  • Professional written and verbal communicationĀ 

  • Proficient in Applied Epic, Microsoft Office product suite, and Adobe Pro systemsĀ 

  • Strong technical property and casualty knowledge, typically 2 to 5 years industry experience.Ā
