Job DetailsJob Location: Hanover, PA 17331Job Shift: DayHanover Foods is looking for a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Driver to join our Freezer (Repack) team on First Shift. In this role, you’ll safely move products and materials throughout our facility while helping keep production running efficiently. If you’re reliable, enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and take pride in working safely, we’d like to hear from you. What You’ll Do Safely operate a forklift to transport finished products, raw materials, and pallets throughout the facility. Move products between storage areas, production lines, trailers, and warehouse locations. Pick and transport orders according to production schedules and work orders. Perform daily forklift inspections and report mechanical or safety concerns promptly. Follow all food safety, quality, GMP, HACCP, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Assist with additional duties as assigned by your supervisor or leadperson. QualificationsRequired Previous forklift experience or the ability to safely operate a forklift. Basic math and counting skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong commitment to workplace safety. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work overtime as needed. Preferred Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment. Experience in the food manufacturing industry is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to frequently operate a forklift throughout the workday. Ability to lift and move up to 80 pounds when necessary. Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements. Ability to work in refrigerated/freezer conditions. Ability to work around moving equipment in a manufacturing environment while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
