We are expanding our mechanical and plumbing construction operations in Maryland and are seeking a high-accountability Project Manager to support portfolio growth.

Position Summary

The Project Manager will lead commercial construction projects with a focus on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. This role is responsible for full project lifecycle management including scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, financial oversight, and client communication.

The ideal candidate is disciplined, execution-focused, and capable of leading complex commercial projects with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial MEP construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules
• Manage project budgets, forecasting, and cost controls
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal field teams
• Oversee mechanical and plumbing system integration
• Manage change orders and contract documentation
• Lead client meetings and provide clear verbal and written communication
• Ensure safety compliance and quality control standards
• Maintain accurate reporting and project documentation

Required Qualifications

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or similar experience
• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience
• Experience managing MEP-focused projects
• Strong understanding of construction financial management
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Strong written communication skills
• Proven leadership and team management ability
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Willing to travel regularly for site visits and client relations
• Familiarity with ProCore
• Documented experience managing $10M+ in projects

Preferred Qualifications

• U.S. Military Veteran
• Plumbing License and/or HVAC License
• OSHA certification
• Experience in commercial mechanical or plumbing construction
