Looking to take the next step in a fast-paced warehouse environment? Utz Quality Foods is hiring a Weeknight Shift Warehouse Lead at our Broadway facility in Hanover, PA.

 

This is a full-time role working Sunday–Wednesday, 5:30 PM–5:30 AM. You’ll help lead warehouse operations, support receiving and shipping activities, coordinate trailer movements, maintain inventory accuracy, and help train team members while ensuring safety and food quality standards are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads shift in execution of receiving, unloading and staging raw materials.
  • Must have the ability to jockey trailers to and from docks. Training offered.
  • Able to obtain a forklift license.
  • Organizes, stages and loads finished goods in warehouse.
  • Utilize D365 to record all inventory transactions.
  • Responsible for inter-yard trailer movement.
  • Coordinates trailer movements with other facilities using Yard Management system.
  • Inspects incoming materials to insure receipt of correct items in proper quantities without damage.
  • Places materials unloaded from trailers in designated areas using FIFO inventory control.
  • Follows food safety practices and all applicable requirements of the SQF System.
  • Maintain a safe and clean dock area.
  • Trains new warehouse personnel.
  • Works in a team environment with production.
  • Responsible to report unsafe equipment and practices to supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of warehouse, receiving, manufacturing, or distribution experience preferred
  • Previous leadership or team lead experience preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
  • Experience with D365 or other warehouse management systems preferred
  • Knowledge of inventory control and FIFO practices preferred
  • Safety-minded and able to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and work around noise, heat, and moving equipment.
