About the RoleÂ
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President to lead our dynamic Insurance team in Whippany, NJ.
Key Responsibilities IncludeÂ
Serve as a visible leader for the internal insurance teamÂ
Lead, retain, and mentor team membersÂ
Foster an environment that embodies collaboration and teambuildingÂ
Responsible for training, overseeing, and quality checking the work of Account Executives (AE)Â
Effectively distributes workload across servicing teamsÂ
Review account receivable (A/R) reports, book of business Business Development reports and other critical business documents for accuracyÂ
Positively and proactively represents American Global in meetings, seminars, trade shows, networking events, industry associations, organizations, boards and charities, as appropriate; Authors articlesÂ
Cultivate carrier relationships at leadership levels to support company visibility and credibility in the construction insurance marketplace. Â
Achieve new business sales goalsÂ
Retain a minimum of 95% of individual book of business year over yearÂ
Manage C-suite client relationship and overall client satisfaction. Clearly communicate client needs to account management teamÂ
Cultivate relationships with centers of influence (Including but not limited to attorney partners, bankers, CPAs)Â
Clearly promote American Global’s competitive differentiation in written and verbal presentationsÂ
Supports team in response to requests for proposals (RFP)Â
Maintain ongoing communication with clients and industry partners to ensure a high-level of customer service. Â
Maintain insurance license & CE requirements Â

Demonstrate strong knowledge of competitors to aid in company prospecting effortsÂ
Demonstrate proficiency in the sales discovery process (due diligence)Â
