Description

 

Critical Peake Electrical Services is seeking a dependable and organized Warehouse & Materials Coordinator to support our warehouse, fleet, and field operations. This position plays an important role in ensuring materials, tools, equipment, and company vehicles are properly received, maintained, documented, and available when needed.


The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable balancing warehouse responsibilities with local driving, material deliveries, vehicle inspections, and general operational support.


Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, label, and organize incoming materials. 
  • Verify that materials are assigned to the correct project or job number. 
  • Notify Project Managers of deliveries and quantities received. 
  • Deliver and pick up materials, tools, and equipment as needed. 
  • Return unused project materials to the warehouse and maintain accurate documentation. 
  • Conduct routine inspections of company vehicles. 
  • Report vehicle damage, mechanical concerns, and maintenance needs. 
  • Help coordinate oil changes, tire service, recalls, registrations, and other scheduled maintenance. 
  • Verify that vehicle GPS units are functioning properly. 
  • Confirm that vehicles contain current registration, insurance, and towing information. 
  • Maintain appropriate truck stock and vehicle cleanliness. 
  • Check tools and equipment in and out and ensure returned items are properly stored. 
  • Maintain vehicle sign-out records and other fleet documentation. 
  • Perform additional warehouse, fleet, and operational duties as assigned.

Requirements

 

Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. 
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. 
  • Basic mechanical aptitude. 
  • Familiarity with common tools, equipment, and construction materials. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Project Managers, field employees, vendors, and other team members. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse, electrical construction, material-handling, or fleet-support experience. 
  • Experience coordinating vehicle maintenance or maintaining fleet records. 
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office or inventory-management software. 
  • Familiarity with materials and tools used in the electrical trade. 

Physical Requirements

This position regularly involves standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and handling materials. The employee must be able to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds and safely operate a company vehicle. The role may also require driving more than 50 miles, walking on uneven surfaces, climbing, and working in active warehouse or construction-related environments.
