Job Summary:Â
In the Branch Sales Associate role, you will be the face of our branch, providing exceptional customer service, product knowledge, and support to HVAC/R professionals and contractors who visit our location. Your enthusiasm for the industry, excellent communication skills, and commitment to delivering top-notch customer service will be the key to your success. This position is eligible for performance-based bonuses and incentives. Â

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Â
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding the right HVAC/R products and supplies for their needs. Provide expert advice, product information, and recommendations.Â
- Order Processing: Accurately process customer orders, ensuring that all requested items are available, properly priced, and invoiced correctly. Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision.Â
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our HVAC/R product inventory, including specifications, compatibility, and pricing. Stay up to date with industry trends and new product releases.Â
- Stock Management: Monitor and replenish stock levels on the sales floor. Conduct regular inventory counts and report any discrepancies to the store manager.Â
- Technical Support: Assist customers in troubleshooting and finding solutions to technical issues related to HVAC/R equipment and components.Â
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized counter area. Ensure a safe working environment for both customers and colleagues.Â
- Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation for customer transactions, including invoices, returns, and warranty claims.Â
- This role may require occasional travel to various locations for training sessions, professional development opportunities, meetings, or other work-related activities. Candidates should be prepared to travel, with advance notice provided whenever possible or as it relates to their specific role. Â

Qualifications:Â
- Prior experience in Customer Service.Â
- Prior leadership roles with profit and loss responsibility preferred.Â
- Experience in leading people in a retail environment.Â
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly grow sales in a retail environment.Â
- Experience building and maintaining cross-functional relationships.Â
- Experience analyzing and using customer, market, and competitor data to make informed decisions and business planning.Â
 Â
Preferred Qualifications:Â
- Experience working with HVAC contractors strongly desired.Â
- Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office applications.Â
- Ability to work in a team environment and be willing to participate.Â
- Ability to function at an above-average level in a technical environment.Â
- Prior experience using sales and/or inventory management systems.Â

Requirements:Â
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Associate's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.Â
- Experience managing in a B2B environment in distribution or wholesale sales preferred but not requiredÂ
- Excellent relationship-building skills; must be a team builder as well as a team player with a focus on sales.Â
