Summary
EKG Tech provides electrocardiograms, and stress testing on inpatients and outpatients. EKG Tech provides procedures for patients from newborn to maturity. EKG Tech completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. EKG Tech performs other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:Â High School Graduate or GED
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 6 Months Experience performing EKG’s Preferred but not required.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 1 year performing EKG’s in the clinical settin
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE:Â Completion of EKG course within 1 year of hire
REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): BLS–Obtained through approved American Heart Association
