Full-Time Medical Assistant (MA)

Frank R. Laurri, MD & Associates, PC is seeking a motivated and compassionate Full-Time Medical Assistant to join our team!

We are a fast-paced primary care practice dedicated to providing high-quality care to our adult patients at our Niagara Falls and Clarence locations. We are looking for an MA who is dependable, team-oriented, clinically skilled, and committed to providing excellent patient care.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations, including obtaining vital signs, height, weight, and BMI.
• Interview patients to update medical histories and medication lists and confirm the reason for the visit.
• Perform point-of-care testing and collect laboratory specimens.
• Perform EKGs and PFTs.
• Process prescription requests.
• Complete chart preparation according to the practice quality checklist.
• Manage incoming documents and assist with completing necessary forms.
• Communicate with patients regarding questions, follow-up instructions, and scheduling of testing ordered by providers.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous work experience in a healthcare or medical office setting preferred.
• Strong clinical and patient-care skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Medent EMR experience is helpful.
• Professional, dependable, and compassionate approach to patient care.

Compensation

$19.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Monday–Friday
• On-site, daytime hours
• No weekend hours
