Location: Harrisburg- Hybrid (1 day onsite)

We are looking for an experienced Data Platform Architect to design and build scalable, cloud-based data platforms supporting analytics, data engineering, AI/ML, and enterprise data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise-scale data platforms and data lake/lakehouse solutions.
• Develop scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT frameworks.
• Work with AWS, Snowflake, Spark/PySpark, Python, and modern data technologies.
• Define data models, data governance, security, quality, and lineage standards.
• Drive cloud data modernization, performance optimization, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Architects, Product teams, and business stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership and guide engineering teams on architecture and best practices.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Architecture / Data Platform Architecture.
• Strong experience with AWS cloud data services.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Strong Spark/PySpark experience.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Experience designing Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, or Lakehouse architectures.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, dimensional modeling, data governance, and data quality.
• Experience with cloud modernization and large-scale data processing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred

• Experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, AWS Glue, EMR, Terraform/IaC, CI/CD, or ML/AI data platforms.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale analytics or AI/ML initiatives.
