The Digital Banking Product Owner is responsible for executing, delivering, and continuously optimizing PSECU’s digital banking platforms. This role partners with the Lead Digital Banking Product Manager, Digital Banking Product Managers, Product Analysts, stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to translate product strategy into actionable requirements and support delivery throughout the product lifecycle. Strong communication, analytical, relationship-building, and influencing skills are essential to effectively align cross-functional teams, drive product outcomes, and deliver exceptional member experiences.

Serving as the primary business representative for assigned digital products, the Product Owner balances member needs, business objectives, regulatory requirements, and technical capabilities while owning backlog prioritization, requirements definition, and delivery activities.

In a fast-paced environment, the Product Owner manages multiple priorities, identifies improvement opportunities, supports enhancements, and coordinates issue assessment and resolution to improve the member experience.

Schedule: Monday - Friday. 8:00am - 4:00pm. Two days a week onsite.

In this position, you will

Backlog Management: Own and prioritize the product backlog, balancing business value, member impact, strategic objectives, and delivery effort. Partner with technology teams to refine requirements, estimate work, and ensure priorities align with the product roadmap.

Product Delivery: Lead delivery of features, enhancements, and releases by defining acceptance criteria, participating in planning activities, and ensuring solutions meet business objectives, member needs, and quality expectations. Monitor outcomes and feedback to support member satisfaction and product adoption.

Requirements Management: Gather, analyze, and document requirements, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications that translate stakeholder and member needs into actionable development work.

Product Lifecycle Management: Support planning, implementation, maintenance, testing, and user acceptance activities to ensure successful deployments and high-quality member experiences.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with developers, UX designers, analysts, quality assurance, stakeholders, and vendors to coordinate delivery, manage risks and dependencies, and resolve implementation challenges.

Communication & Reporting: Provide clear, timely updates on product status, progress, priorities, risks, production issues, timelines, impacts, and outcomes to leadership, stakeholders, and business partners.

Production Support: Support triage, prioritization, and resolution of production issues. Evaluate enhancement requests and help maintain product stability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelors (Required)

5 years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Product Design, Solutions Development, Project Management, Digital Product Delivery, or related disciplines, with demonstrated experience managing products throughout the product lifecycle and leading cross-functional initiatives. | Required
Any equivalent combination of experience and education. | Required
Deep knowledge of product delivery methods and strong requirements gathering and user story development skills | Required
Excellent product development lifecycle and release management coordination skills | Required
Experience with production support, issue resolution and risk management | Required
Extensive knowledge of digital banking platforms, UX/UI and member engagement | Required
