About the Role: Insurance Client Service Agent

Do you thrive in a fast‑paced, rewarding customer service environment? Do you enjoy helping others understand how to protect what matters most? If so, AAA Central Penn is looking for an Insurance Client Service Agent to join our growing insurance team.

This role is key to managing existing client accounts while delivering exceptional service. You’ll partner closely with Insurance Sales Agents to maintain active accounts, support renewals, provide quotes, identify upselling opportunities, and ensure our clients feel confident and cared for every step of the way.

New to insurance? No worries.
If you don’t yet have your Property & Casualty license, we’ve got you covered—we’ll help you prepare for the licensing exam and pay for the exam cost. (Licensure is required within 6 months of hire.)

Essential Functions

  • Maintain valid Pennsylvania Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses
  • Manage client accounts to support renewals, cross‑selling, and client retention
  • Conduct exposure and needs analysis to provide informed recommendations
  • Prospect, quote, and process policies using internal and external systems
  • Deliver excellent customer service via phone, email, and in‑person interactions
  • Review applications for completeness and accuracy prior to compliance submission
  • Meet established sales goals
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the insurance team as needed
  • Follow established workflows and protect client confidentiality
  • Promote AAA products and refer opportunities across lines of business
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Insurance licenses preferred but not required at hire
  • Customer service, administrative, or insurance experience preferred
  • Strong communication and time‑management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Attention to detail and comfort working with numbers and quotes
