Job DetailsJob Location: Classic Rock Harrisburg - Harrisburg, PA 17109Salary Range: $18.00 - $25.00 HourlyThe Receiver/Material Handler plays a crucial role in keeping our fabrication operations running smoothly by managing the receipt, verification, and organization of incoming stone slabs, raw materials, and other critical supplies. This role ensures that all materials are accurately documented, properly stored, and efficiently delivered to the appropriate departments or end users. Additionally, the Receiver/Material Handler coordinates outbound shipments, including returns and packages, and supports inventory processes such as cycle counts and the Slab Smith system. By maintaining precise records, organized inventory, and safe handling practices, this position directly contributes to the efficiency, quality, and success of Classic Rock Fabrication’s operations.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Receive incoming products and materials, verifying the accuracy of deliveries. Notify and deliver incoming products to the appropriate end user or department. Ensure all receipts are accompanied by the necessary documentation (e.g., packing slips) for accurate entry into the computer system. Complete daily receiving entries in the computer system. Distribute packing slips to the purchasing office for proper filing and record-keeping. Maintain raw material and critical supply inventories, ensuring adequate stock levels. Organize and maintain the cleanliness of the inventory area, including inventory racking. Assist with inventory cycle counting to ensure accurate stock levels. Maintain physical counts of raw materials and manage the tag control process. Process all outbound shipments efficiently and in a timely manner. Perform general housekeeping, maintenance, and organization of the dock and inventory areas. Facilitate the Slab Smith process for managing slab inventory. Provide support to other team members when needed, promoting teamwork and collaboration. Uphold Classic Rock Fabrication's Core Values in all aspects of work. Perform other duties as assigned by Management to support the company’s mission and vision.   PHYSICAL DEMANDS Stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, handling, and repetitive motions. Must be able to safely lift up to 125 pounds.   WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment is primarily within a warehouse, with occasional outdoor assignments. QualificationsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE •    High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. •    One to two years of related experience and/or training preferred. •    A combination of education and experience may be considered. LANGUAGE SKILLS •    Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. •    Capable of writing simple correspondence. •    Effectively communicate with colleagues and vendors in fluent English. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS •    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. REASONING ABILITY •    Ability to interpret instructions provided in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS •    DOT Medical Clearance is required.
