Job Description

The FHA REO Officer II is responsible for maintaining the flow of deeds, title
evidence and the reimbursement of corporate and servicer advances
expenditures due for all HUD insured loans in the REO (real estate owned)
department.
• Oversee the preparation and completion of HUD 27011 Part B HUD claims filed
by staff
• Maintain database of reconveyed properties
• Process and prepare reconveyed properties; file claim for reacquisition of
reconveyed inventory
• Prepare and oversee the preparation of HUD supplemental claims filed by staff
for reimbursement of expenses not allowed on original claim
• Process post closeout refunds to and reimbursements from HUD; adjust profit
and loss balance accordingly
• Respond to post closing demand letters issued by the MCM; reimburse accordingly
• Respond to annual HUD Part B claim audit requests.
• Understand and implement HUD regulations and guidelines, with fidelity.
