Sanitation Technician - USBL - US

This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe Facility/Warehouse environment. Performs the job following Preferred Work Methods (PWM). Responsibilities include removing all trash and debris from the warehouse and dock areas, cleaning up spills of product or other foreign matter, operating power scrubber, sweeper walk behind scrubber and other warehouse equipment, cleaning warehouse walls, floors, racking, doors, facility building, grounds, lighting, parking lots, sanitizing restrooms, offices, break rooms, and locker rooms. The employee must follow the daily schedule as assigned by the supervisor to ensure a continuous sanitation maintenance program and maintain the warehouse in a clean and safe working environment. Other duties as directed by Supervisor. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, previous sanitation experience within a warehouse environment is highly preferred. Physical demands include ability to talk, hear, use hands and fingers with controlled dexterity, stand, walk, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste/smell, and lift/move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
