The PA Board of Law Examiners, an appointed Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, is looking for a Senior Bar Admission Analyst.

Senior Bar Admission Analyst

The position involves a wide variety of professional administrative duties including:

  • planning and administering the bar examination;

  • evaluating requests for test accommodations;

  • evaluating character and fitness and qualifications for bar admission;

  • drafting/editing recommendations, preparing files for board review and administrative materials for Board meetings;

  • researching and analyzing bar admission standards, preparing comprehensive reports of findings and recommendations; and

  • managing board staff, graders, and proctors.

The position will be directly involved in sensitive and confidential issues regarding the Court, Board, applicants, and personnel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Admission to the Pennsylvania bar and three years experience as a practicing attorney.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organization ability and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in management or program administration preferred.

Miscellaneous Requirements:

  • Satisfactory criminal background check required.

  • Mandatory (reimbursed) travel including overnight stays.

Salary information

Job Highlights

  • 35 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

Starting Salary: $80,606 - $97,123

Starting salary will vary depending upon the qualifications and employment history of the selected candidate.
