In this role, you’ll be a key player in ensuring accurate financial operations for our insurance agency while contributing to the club’s overall financial reporting and compliance. If you thrive on precision, problem-solving, and collaboration, this is your opportunity to shine.
What you’ll do:
- Reconcile daily cash receipts and resolve variances
- Close out each month: At the end of the month, review and update financial records so everything is accurate.
- Handle commission payments: Calculate commission payments for our insurance agents.
- Help with financial reports: Work with the accounting manager to prepare reports on company performance.
- Manage investments: Support tracking and reconciling of company investments and cash flow.
- Support payroll and benefits: Help with payroll, managing benefits, and making sure related accounts are accurate.
- Ensure compliance: Prepare and submit required state and federal filings.
- Analyze financial data: Provide insights  to help managers make informed decisions.
- Improve processes: Suggest ways to make accounting processes more efficient and accurate.
- Assist with new systems: Participate in rolling out new software or products to ensure alignment with accounting needs.
- Work with other teams: Collaborate with other AAA Central Penn departments to keep financial information accurate and processes running smoothly.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
- 2 – 4 years of accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Proficiency in Excel as well as accounting software.
- An analytical mindset, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
