Your Impact at SAM

The Staff Surveyor is responsible for overseeing technicians and field crews to successfully complete large-scale land surveying projects on schedule. This role works closely with Project Managers, Project Surveyors, and other teams to coordinate project scope, schedules, and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with Project Managers, Project Surveyors, and other teams to complete projects according to the established scope and schedule
Supervise technicians and field crews working on large-scale land surveying projects
Serve as a primary client contact and maintain clear communication throughout the project
Review, sign, and seal plats, drawings, and other survey deliverables
Mentor and train technicians on state surveying requirements, technical standards, and QA/QC procedures
Perform additional duties that support the company’s projects and strategic goals

What You Bring to SAM

Demonstrated ability to efficiently execute professional land survey tasks
Demonstrated experience in project/phase management for large-scale survey projects
Strong technical skill set, including AutoCAD and MS Office
Professional Land Surveyor License
