Animal Hospital of Dauphin County is growing and looking to bring on a Veterinary Technician

Daily Responsibilities:

Room Position:

· Room Wellness and Problem appointments obtaining vitals and history

· Educate client on preventative care including, preventative blood work, 4DX/ FIV/FELV testing, dental care, weight management and yearly f/t and hwt prevention

· Discuss medication prescribed including side effects, etc.

· Chart for Exam Doctor

· Pull Blood, place IVC, Give SQ,IM,IV injections

· Perform Radiographs

Schedule:

Schedule would range from 10 and 12hr shifts. Flexible schedule with rotating weekend coverage required at our larger hospital.

Qualifications:

1-2 years of Veterinary experience required, new grads encouraged to apply. Certification or ability to become certified preferred but not required.

Pay based on experience and technical skills.
