Description

Job Summary:  The 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of the hotel during afternoon and evening hours. This role performs preventive maintenance, responds to guest and staff maintenance requests, troubleshoots and repairs building systems and equipment, and helps ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for guests. The technician works independently and collaboratively with other departments while providing exceptional guest service and adhering to all hotel safety and operational standards. 


Job Duties:

  • Ensure the safety, and security of our guests, by maintaining guest privacy at all times.
  • Performs indoor and outdoor rounds of the property including trash removal, and debris cleanup.
  • Completes, and documents, pool readings.
  • Completes work orders as assigned from the property’s work order management system, ALICE.
  • Responds in a timely, courteous manner to guest inquiries, or requests.
  • Maintains a professional, friendly, and positive demeanor at all times.
  • Maintains a clean, and organized work space.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Indoor Swimming Pool Expereince preferred, but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of general maintenance principles, use of basic tools, and operation of standard repair equipment.
  • Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighting up to 125 lbs. Ability to lift a maximum of 75 lbs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and associates.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
