The Delivery Technician effectively interacts with patients/clients, their families, caregivers, and members of the healthcare/HME team in providing professional home medical equipment products and services. Provides delivery set-up, initial instruction, and pick-up of HME.

Responsibilities
- Practice safe driving habits and proper safety precautions.
- Responsible for vehicle and equipment while on delivery/pickups.
- Be able to assess home safety and patient needs.
- Perform equipment set up, instruction and education.
- Pickup of equipment following proper procedures.
- Complete orders in an efficient and timely manner.
- Treat patients with kindness and compassion.
- On call on a rotating basis, responding quickly within company guidelines.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Ability to obtain D.O.T. medical card
- Must possess strong communication skills
- Must be organized and detail oriented
- Basic math and keyboard proficiency
- Ability to lift heavy equipment (upwards of 50 pounds)
- Familiarity with the local area and ability to navigate using GPS
- Functional skills on a computers and mobile devices (Android or iOS)
