POSITION AT A GLANCE

Location: Butler, PA 
Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt 
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As an Accounts Payable Manager, you’ll lead a team of AP professionals while overseeing payment operations, process improvements, reporting, and vendor relationships to support efficient financial operations across the organization. You will:

➤ Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts Payable team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement 
➤ Assign workloads, monitor daily activity, and ensure compliance with AP policies and internal controls 
➤ Oversee the AP portfolio to ensure timely payments, accurate application, and prompt resolution of vendor disputes 
➤ Monitor AP aging reports and implement strategies to resolve outstanding items 
➤ Manage third-party AP integrations and automation tools to maximize operational efficiency 
➤ Partner with key vendors to resolve disputed charges and maintain strong relationships 
➤ Develop and track KPIs including Days Payables Outstanding (DPO), Early Payment Discounts, and Invoice Exception Rates 
➤ Conduct monthly reviews of outstanding payments and portfolio risks with finance leadership 
➤ Identify root causes of departmental issues and recommend process improvements 
➤ Collaborate cross-functionally to support organizational financial goals 
➤ Promote and enforce all health and safety policies to maintain a safe work environment


WHAT YOU BRING

◆ Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required. Five or more years of progressive accounting or accounts payable experience required. Strong analytical skills and experience monitoring AP metrics and driving performance improvements preferred.

◆ Certificates & Licenses: Valid Driver’s License required for inter-company travel; must meet company insurability standards

â—† Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams while managing workflows, employee performance, and departmental accountability in a fast-paced environment.

â—† Skills & Abilities: Strong communication, negotiation, and vendor relationship skills. Proficiency with ERP/CRM systems, AP automation platforms, and reporting tools required.

â—† Physical Requirements: Occasional lifting/moving up to 25 lbs. Vision abilities include close, distance, and focus adjustment.
