This role serves as the primary finance liaison for financial results, working closely with internal stakeholders to provide insights and explanations related to financial performance. You will be aligned to senior product executives and support strategic and operational decision-making across planning, forecasting, business development, and revenue optimization.

As a Finance Manager, you will act as a strategic business partner to a product segment, engaging directly with both the product team and the broader finance organization to help shape Mastercard’s Commercial Product performance, strategy, and long-term financial plan.

Can you craft a compelling narrative around the numbers?
Do you want to drive value as part of a customer-focused team?
Are you a strong communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders through insight and thought leadership?

Role Responsibilities
- Serve as the day-to-day finance business partner to a Commercial Product segment within the Americas region, working closely with internal product leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Lead and participate in financial discussions with internal stakeholders during periodic business and financial reviews.
- Manage operating expenses and contribute to the preparation of Quarterly Business Review (QBR) materials.
- Produce recurring and ad hoc financial deliverables for Product teams, Global Finance, and other key stakeholders.
- Drive the FP&A cycle including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking of volumes, revenue, product P&Ls, and expenses.
- Support new business initiatives, customer proposals, and go-to-market strategies through financial modeling and scenario analysis.
- Contribute financial inputs to goal setting and compensation planning as part of the annual planning process.
- Ensure financial alignment with both market-level priorities and Mastercard’s broader corporate objectives.
- Engage with customers when required to provide financial insight or support strategic initiatives.

All About You
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong experience in financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and/or business partnering roles.
- Skilled in financial reporting systems and consolidation of data from multiple sources.
- Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with tools such as MyMPA, Enterprise Reporting, SFDC, and Hyperion is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to influence and build relationships across teams.
- Proactive and collaborative, with a strong team mindset and the ability to build internal and external partnerships.
- Possess situational awareness and the ability to tailor financial narratives to various audiences.
- Comfortable working independently, navigating ambiguity, and providing clear rationale behind financial insights.
