As a Physical Therapist Assistant at NARMC, you’ll implement PT treatment plans, track progress, and teach safe techniques—so patients get back to what matters. Job Summary Provide components of physical therapy interventions under direction of a PT; document responses to treatment; and communicate progress and concerns promptly to the supervising PT. Key Responsibilities Prepare treatment areas; transport patients safely; follow the written plan of care and proper sequence. Administer modalities and therapeutic exercises; reinforce correct technique and equipment use. Monitor and document patient response; report outcomes to the PT and suggest progression. Fit orthotics/prosthetics, measure for canes/crutches, and provide gait training per PT direction. Maintain accurate charges and documentation; practice safe body mechanics and lift/device use. Job Qualifications Required Associate’s degree from an APTA-approved PTA program; Arkansas PTA license; BLS. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; commitment to ongoing learning. Preferred Prior PTA experience in acute, outpatient, or swing-bed settings.
