Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Site Patrol in Purchase, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a professional financial institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a caring, agile, and reliable team culture while acting with integrity and helping create a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and/or vendors.

Pay Rate: $19.00 - $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, lobbies, office areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor logs, and/or deliveries in accordance with location procedures, reporting discrepancies or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support a professional environment by observing for operational issues, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns, then escalating matters through proper channels in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
