Position Overview

Valley Roofing & Exteriors is seeking a Skilled Carpenter with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in residential construction. This Skilled Carpenter role is ideal for someone experienced in framing, building decks, and completing exterior home improvement projects.

The ideal Skilled Carpenter is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a crew.

Key Responsibilities

Perform framing for residential construction and exterior projects
Build and repair decks, porches, and other outdoor structures
Complete exterior home improvement projects including siding, trim, and general carpentry
Measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision
Maintain a clean and safe job site
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to company standards
Safely operate tools and equipment provided by the company

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Skilled Carpenter
Strong experience with framing, decking, and exterior carpentry
Ability to read and interpret basic construction plans and measurements
Must have reliable transportation to job sites (company truck provided during work hours)
Valid driver’s license required
Must provide own hand tools (all major tools, truck, and trailer provided)
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
