Job Description
The machine operator is responsible for diligently maintaining superior quality, productivity and maintenance standards for an assigned area and equipment while adhering to all Safety programs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
路 Maintain and test mechanical equipment, machinery, and components.
路 Identify parts or machines needing new or replacement parts.
路 Respond to requests by production area when mechanical issues with equipment have been identified.
路 Communicate with production management and personnel to diagnose problems and to determine potential mechanical problems.
路 Perform preventive maintenance.
路 Complete assigned tasks with accuracy and efficiency, in regard to time as well as resources.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
路 General mathematic ability required to perform job.
路 Should possess the ability to read, write and speak English.
路 Ability to read and write to safely utilize lockout/tagout and confined space entry program.
路 Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings.
路 Basic knowledge of standard and metric measures.
路 Must be able to work assigned days/shifts (including some weekends).
