Sentara Medical Group is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our award-winning, nationally recognized, innovative, non-profit healthcare system in Harrisonburg, VA. Position Highlights & Clinical Practice

  • Supportive, collaborative cardiology team of 10 physicians and 12 APPs committed to high-quality patient care.
  • Balanced inpatient and outpatient practice offering variety and continuity
  • Single-hospital coverage with outpatient clinic on site
  • Perform echo, TEE, and nuclear stress testing
  • Coronary CTA or Cardiac MRI experience welcomed, but not required
  • Robust, comprehensive cardiovascular program with on-site cardiothoracic surgery and a full range of structural heart and electrophysiology services

Schedule & Workflow

  • Rotating weekly schedule: 1 week inpatient (5 days) / 1 week outpatient clinic (4 days)
  • Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • APP support: Dedicated APP assistance for inpatient care and call coverage
  • Clinic volume: Average of 16–18 patients per day
  • Call schedule: 1:8 rotation with APP support for flexibility and work–life balance
