Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital located in Harrisonburg, VA, is hiring a Patient Access SupervisorĀ - Full Time Days
The Supervisor, Patient Access is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, ensuring efficient and accurate registration, financial clearance, and front-end revenue cycle functions. This role provides leadership, support, and mentorship to staff while maintaining compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements. The Supervisor, Patient Access plays a key role in process improvement, staff development, and enhancing the patient experience.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Certification/Licensure
One of the following required:
CHAA (Certified Healthcare Access Associate)Ā Ā Ā
CRCR (Certified Revenue Cycle Representative)Ā Ā
CHAM (Certified Healthcare Access Manager)Ā Ā
CPC (Certified Professional Coder)Ā Ā
Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA)Ā Ā
Certified Medical Services Management (CPMSM)Ā Ā
Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)Ā Ā
Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)Ā
Experience
Relevant experience in Patient Access/Registration, Billing/Patient Accounting, Revenue Cycle Management and/or Customer Service - 3 years (Required)
