WING CUTTER - grade 2

SUMMARY:  The primary responsibility of the Wing Cutter is to cut the wing off the WOG.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Cut the wing off the WOG and place it in a carousal belt.
• Pull the wing down with one hand and make a downward cut at the wing joint with a handheld knife.
• Must keep up with production which equates out to approximately 18 birds per minute.
• Employee is also responsible for using proper technique and any other duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will not have supervisory responsibility.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Required
  • None

•  Preferred
  • Previous food processing experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
