Position Summary

Responsible for client service and retention, business development, and generating services revenue.  Establishes relationships and partnerships that lead to software sales.  Contributes to software development.  Manages projects or activities.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to earning targeted advisory revenue by working with Sales Executives to obtain advisory revenue assignments and successfully complete required deliverables in a timely manner.  Delegate appropriate projects to Analysts.  Review Analyst’s work for accuracy and completeness.  Provide training and feedback.

  • Client Service and retention – for existing ADVISE and GEMS clients.

  • Generate professional services revenue.

  • Establish relationships and partnerships to generate sales.

  • Sales – Collaborate with Sales to assess market needs, maintain competitive information, develop appropriate demos and pitch materials, and assess the viability of select partnerships

  • Product training – Collaborate with team members to develop training programs for end users.

  • Contribute to software development

  • As may be evident from the descriptions above, this role is highly matrixed with other areas of the Risk Solutions business. All those currently involved in planning, developing and delivering our products in the market will continue to play critical roles.

  • Incumbent will participate in selected sales prospect opportunities.

  • Assists with Client retention

  • Assists with Revenue generation

Requirements

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant insurance or asset management experience, or a minimum of 8 years of consulting experience, or work in a project-oriented client service role.
    Requires leadership skills and expert knowledge of systems and processes. 
    Actuarial software expertise; ability to learn new software
    Thorough knowledge of insurance and enterprise risk management. 
    Actuarial designation (FSA/FCAS or experienced ASA/ACAS) preferred. 
    Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, or progress towards a designation a plus. 
    Experience with Asset / Liability Management.
    Strong insurance and financial acumen including understanding of insurance finances

  • Strong communication skills for client facing position. 

  • Other Skills: Excellent communication & presentation skills. Strong analytical abilities.  Successfully manage multiple projects and project teams.
