This role centers on deep fundamental research across below‑investment‑grade corporate issuers, contributing directly to portfolio construction and alpha generation within high yield and multi‑sector strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Full financial statement review

    • Cash flow modeling

    • Capital structure assessment

    • Covenant and documentation analysis

  • Monitor assigned issuers for credit deterioration, catalysts, and relative value opportunities.

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support security selection and issuer‑level recommendations.

  • Formulate relative value opinions within assigned sectors and across the broader high yield universe.

  • Generate investment recommendations (buy/sell/hold) for portfolio managers, supported by clear analytical rationale.

  • Build and maintain industry expertise across two to three sectors, staying current on macroeconomic, regulatory, and competitive dynamics.

  • Engage with market participants, including:

    • Sell‑side analysts and traders

    • Company management teams

    • Rating agencies

  • Collaborate with senior analysts and portfolio managers to support strategy development and portfolio positioning.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field; progress toward CFA strongly preferred.

  • 3–5 years of experience in high yield, leveraged loans, or corporate credit analysis at an investment manager, bank, or rating agency.

  • Strong credit training and demonstrated ability to interpret financial statements and assess creditworthiness.

  • Familiarity with Bloomberg, Perform, Excel API, and other analytical tools.

  • Understanding of macroeconomic drivers and their impact on high yield sectors.

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

  • U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency required for employment.

This position requires U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency (Green Card holder) as a condition of employment. We are unable to sponsor work visas or provide support for OPT/CPT programs for this role.

The starting salary range is $108,000.00 to $133,00.00
