Business Job Title: Shared Services Analyst

Job Summary:

You will ensure the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of cash activities across the organization. You’ll support daily liquidity management, bank reconciliations, cash forecasting, and working capital initiatives. You’ll partner cross-functionally with AP, AR, Payroll, FP&A, and business operations to optimize cash flow, maintain strong internal controls, and support continuous improvement within the Shared Services function. You’ll bring your experience with analytics platforms, including PowerBI (desirable).. You’ll demonstrate excellent presentation skills, constructing analytics in a clear and impactful manner.

Job Responsibilities:

Cash Management & Treasury Operations

  • Monitor and reconcile daily cash movements across all bank accounts.

  • Execute and record wire transfers, ACH payments, positive pay files, and intercompany cash settlements.

  • Support weekly and monthly cash forecasting, including variance analysis vs. actuals.

  • Assist in maintaining the company’s cash & forecasting models and schedules.

  • Prepare and distribute daily cash reports to leadership and corporate team.

  • Conduct thorough financial data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas requiring attention, aligning recommendations with current business strategy.

  • Prepare and curate Monthly Performance Review analytics and presentation data for effective communication to stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with department partners to develop comprehensive budgets and forecasts.

  • Assure that stakeholders have a full understanding and ownership of their financial numbers.

Banking & Controls

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations; investigate and resolve variances.

  • Maintain banking documentation, signatory updates, account openings/closures, and user entitlements.

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, treasury policies, SOX requirements, and audit support documentation.

  • Monitor fraud-prevention tools (Positive Pay, ACH filters, dual approval workflow).

  • Manage projects involving bank implementation and/or support.

Shared Services Support

  • Partner with AP and AR teams to ensure accurate cash application and payment processing.

  • Ownership of defined AP or AR portfolio to deliver accuracy leveraging tactical knowledge and analysis.

  • Research and clear reconciling items and support in collections and disbursement processes.

  • Collaborate with AR & AP to support risk & compliance management, including sales & use tax.

  • Own month-end close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and treasury-related accruals.

  • Serve as a backup and undertake ad hoc projects and analyses as needed.

Process Improvement & Systems

  • Identify improvement opportunities to streamline cash application, bank reconciliation, and working capital workflows.

  • Support implementation or enhancements of treasury tools, ERPs, banking portals, and automation platforms (e.g., Esker, Concur).

  • Build SOPs and control documentation for working capital processes for SOX, DOA and internal compliance.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required.

  • 2–5 years of experience in Treasury, Shared Services, Accounting, AR/AP, or similar cash-focused roles.

  • Experience in a multi-entity or manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems with advanced Excel skills (v-lookups, pivot tables, reconciliations).

  • Experience with banking portals and understanding of cash accounting and banking transactions a plus.

  • High integrity with strong knowledge of accounting principles and month-end close processes.

  • Proactive problem-solving, analytical skills, assertiveness and process discipline.

  • Ability to adapt and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
