Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center, Lab ATTACH RESUMEStep into the fast-paced heart of the clinical laboratory!
In this dynamic role, you鈥檒l be the crucial link between patient care areas and the lab by managing our high鈥憊olume pneumatic tube station. You鈥檒l receive and triage incoming specimens - quickly assessing priority levels such as STAT, routine, stroke protocols, and sepsis alerts.

What you will do:
Obtains and/or processes specimens utilizing appropriate techniques for maintaining the integrity and identification of the patient and/or specimen.
Verifies that the appropriate specimen has been received for the test requested and聽performs the appropriate accessioning in the computer system
Confirms all patients records using departmental guidelines and corrects as necessary.

Work Hours/Shift:
40 hours, Night shift, every other weekend; rotating holidays

Requirements:
High School Diploma.
Laboratory experience, specimen processing preferred; or clinical office experience with medical terminology.
