Job Summary:
The Return Goods Technician will analyze and repair product malfunctions by utilizing knowledge of company product, tooling, and repairs.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure product specification and safety standards are met through use of measuring tools and electrical testing equipment
- Repair and perform rework on product returns and damaged goods. Test and evaluate product.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to assist in repairs
- Troubleshoot and analyze product to identify root cause of product malfunction.
- Perform data entry for report completion.
- Safely operate a manlift in accordance with company policy.
- Repair and maintain department tools and equipment
- Assists with special projects
Job Requirements:
- Knowledgeable to work from drawings and schematics
- Effective use of power and hand tools, including measuring tools and electrical testing equipment (caliper, micrometer, tape measure, multi meter and hi-pot tester).
- Work well in team environment and effectively communicate
- Problem solving skills
- Detail oriented to perform work that requires precision and accuracy
- Basic computer skills are needed. Previous AS400, WMS, Agile, Microsoft Office experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 35 pounds regularly, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
- Climb ladders as needed.
