Job Summary:

The Return Goods Technician will analyze and repair product malfunctions by utilizing knowledge of company product, tooling, and repairs.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Ensure product specification and safety standards are met through use of measuring tools and electrical testing equipment
  • Repair and perform rework on product returns and damaged goods.  Test and evaluate product.
  • Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to assist in repairs
  • Troubleshoot and analyze product to identify root cause of product malfunction.
  • Perform data entry for report completion.   
  • Safely operate a manlift in accordance with company policy.
  • Repair and maintain department tools and equipment
  • Assists with special projects

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledgeable to work from drawings and schematics
  • Effective use of power and hand tools, including measuring tools and electrical testing equipment (caliper, micrometer, tape measure, multi meter and hi-pot tester).
  • Work well in team environment and effectively communicate
  • Problem solving skills
  • Detail oriented to perform work that requires precision and accuracy
  • Basic computer skills are needed.  Previous AS400, WMS, Agile, Microsoft Office experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 35 pounds regularly, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Climb ladders as needed.
