Signicast is seeking a detail-oriented CMM Operator to join our Quality team. You will be primarily responsible for the collection of dimensional data through the use of layout equipment. 

Shift: 12:00 pm- 8:30 pm preferred. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded from time to time to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary. 

  • Comply with all safety and health guidelines, quality standard practices/procedures, and housekeeping standards
  • Perform layouts on castings with existing CMM programs, perform manual inspections, and populate inspection reports
  • Collect scan data and run analysis routines using Romer Arm and Polyworks software
  • Assist with Gage R&R studies on custom-designed gages and common gage families
  • Assist with Gage calibration activities
  • Support a continuous improvement mindset with regard to metrology processes and equipment
  • Other duties and functions in support of metrology and quality areas as needed

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: 
High school diploma or HSED/GED equivalent preferred. Prior work experience with common gauge types is required. Must possess good computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Excel, and be able to learn new skills as needed. 3-5 years of CMM operating experience and GD&T knowledge required.
