We are seeking a passionate, relationship-driven Territory Manager to grow our residential HVAC presence in the Hartford and Chicopee markets. This role is ideal for someone who loves being in front of customers, thrives on building long-term partnerships, and is excited to represent top brands in a supportive, people-focused environment.

Duties and responsibilities:

  1. Build strong, consultative relationships with HVAC/R contractors, with a focus on promoting LG Ductless, Ecoer, and Weatherking (a Ruud brand) equipment. Grow sales of existing dealers while acquiring new ones within the assigned territory
  2. Drive revenue growth by expanding sales with current customers while identifying, targeting, and onboarding new dealers within your assigned territory
  3. Maintain and regularly update a strategic prospect list, including key data, current brands carried, and relevant contacts.  Analyze differences among our competitors and demonstrate Meier Supply Co., Inc’s value proposition
  4. Develop and execute a comprehensive annual sales plan designed to expand dealer networks and sales performance across your region.  
  5. Maintain a 4-day schedule of customer calls with one day used for administrative reasons. Typical day would include 2-4 sales calls per day
  6. Use CRM tools to submit weekly agendas, track customer interactions, and provide timely updates on sales activity
  7. Maintain strong communication with HVAC Division Manager, Director of Sales, and Branch Managers
  8. Monthly reviews to be held with HVAC Division Manager to monitor and evaluate current dealer sales performance, progress of dealer prospecting, and progress and annual sales plan
  9. Analyze the territory, develop, execute and monitor sales programs
  10. Develop strong working knowledge of all LG, Ecoer, and Weatherking product and dealer programs including warranty, financing, pricing, marketing, utility incentives, and accurately communicate them to customers.
  11. Identify customer training needs and coordinate appropriate training sessions
  12. Contribute positively to the Meier Supply culture through consistent modeling of our core values as employee-owners

Pay:

First year earnings $100K +(Base + Bridge equals $100,000 for first year) 


Requirements

 Qualifications include:

  1. 3+ years of demonstrated performance history in outside sales or new customer development, preferably in HVAC industry.
  2. Excellent formal presentation skills
  3. Self-driven, highly motivated, organized, technical credibility, follow-through, problem-solving and high sense of urgency.
  4. Excellent customer service skills and proven success in developing and fostering business relationships
  5. Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, presenting, promoting and selling HVAC products and services including market strategy and tactics, and sales techniques.
  6. A valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Physical requirements:

  • Primary responsibility is to make dealer and contractor sales calls. In rare occasions the individual may be asked to make an emergency delivery of equipment of parts.
  • 50% travel required
