We are seeking compassionate and motivated staff members to join our team. In thisĀ 
role, you will be responsible for providing direct support to guests, ensuring a safe andĀ 
clean environment, and assisting with the daily operations of the Resource Center.Ā 


Job Summary

Ā 

The Resource Center Staff cultivates positive, supportive relationships with guests whileĀ 
promoting a strong sense of community. Using person-centered and trauma-informedĀ 
approaches, this role supports daily operations of the Resource Center and helpsĀ 
maintain a welcoming, respectful, and safe environment grounded in standards of well
being, communication, and safety. Ā Staff work closely with guests to empower theirĀ 
strengths, honor individual experiences, and support the pursuit of self-defined goals.Ā 
This position requires professionalism and the ability to engage effectively withĀ 
individuals, children, and families while providing support that balances compassionĀ 
with accountability.


The Haven will employ three full-time Staff during 1st shift with a Monday to Friday 8:00Ā 
am to 4:30 pm schedule. Ā Ā 


Duties and Responsibilities


• Welcome guests in a respectful, trauma-informed and culturally responsiveĀ 
Ā  Ā manner and orient them to Resource Center expectations and policiesĀ 
• Maintain safe, clean, and welcoming spacesĀ 
• Assist with laundry, custodial tasks, daily cleaning lists, and mealtimeĀ 
Ā  Ā managementĀ 
• Conduct intakes and basic needs assessmentsĀ 
• Complete written shift documentation in a timely and accurate mannerĀ 
• Communicate collaboratively and professionally with other team members whoĀ 
Ā  Ā serve guests, including service coordinators, other Resource Center associates,Ā 
Ā  Ā and managersĀ 
• Assist with coordination of on-site services, workshops, or partner visitsĀ 
• Respond appropriately to crises, conflict, medical needs, and behavioralĀ 
Ā  challengesĀ 
• Participate in team meetings and weekly supervisionĀ 
• Communicate important information to staff and supervisors including incidentĀ 
Ā  Ā reports and contact emergency services when needed.Ā 
• Support guests with completing applications, forms, and accessing onlineĀ 
Ā  Ā services, community resource connections, and supporting basic needs

• Ability to bend, lift up to 30 lbs., walk on varying terrain, and perform active dutiesĀ 
Ā  Ā throughout shifts Ā 


Experience & EducationĀ 
• Associate or bachelor's degree in human services or similar field preferredĀ 
• Previous experience working in a shelter or social services setting preferredĀ 
• Valid driver’s licenseĀ 
• First Aid/CPR/AED Certification (will train if needed)
