Occupational Therapist

Location: Hartford, CT
Position: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 per year

Summary
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to help patients improve function in daily routines through skilled assessment and targeted intervention. You will deliver therapy that connects clinical goals to real-life outcomes, while maintaining clear documentation and communication across the care team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct OT evaluations and establish baselines for function and safety
  • Create individualized care plans with clear short- and long-term goals
  • Deliver targeted therapy for ADLs, UE rehabilitation, fine motor control, and task tolerance
  • Provide training on adaptive techniques, equipment use, and task modification
  • Track progress using outcomes measures and update plans as needed
  • Partner with the care team to support safe, consistent patient care
  • Complete documentation and treatment notes in line with clinic standards
  • Accredited OT degree (Master’s or Doctorate)
  • Active Connecticut OT license (or eligible with expected start-date approval)
  • NBCOT certification
  • Strong organization skills and comfort managing a full caseload
  • Clinical experience in relevant settings preferred (fieldwork counts)
  • 2 weeks PTO
