Faculty Physician – Department of Medicine

Internal Medicine | Academic Primary Care | Hartford, Connecticut

Hartford HealthCare (HHC), Connecticut’s most comprehensive integrated health system, is seeking a full-time Internal Medicine Physician to join our Adult Primary Care Clinic as an Attending Faculty Physician with leadership responsibilities.

This is a unique opportunity to combine academic medicine, resident teaching, and primary care within a thriving, multi-provider clinic located adjacent to Hartford Hospital, one of the largest academic and surgical hospitals in the Northeast.

Position Overview

  • Outpatient Internal Medicine – Primary Care

  • Active Resident Teaching within the University of Connecticut residency program

  • Full-time schedule typically includes:

    • 8 half-day clinic sessions per week

    • Dedicated academic time

    • Patient follow-ups and care coordination

  • Approximately 5 weekends per year of inpatient coverage

  • Opportunity for a formal leadership role within the residency program
