Seeking an experienced Application Tester to support an integrated Criminal Justice Information (CJI) sharing system, ensuring system quality, security, and compliance with state and federal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform system testing, UAT, requirements validation, and regression testing.
- Create test cases, execute tests, document results, and report/manage defects.
- Support defect resolution and provide testing process guidance.
- Test new releases and validate requirements/traceability matrices.
- Develop, maintain, and expand automation frameworks and test suites.
- Integrate automated testing with DevOps and collaborate on framework architecture.
- Prepare testing reports and presentations for project stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology or related field.
- 5–7 years of IT testing experience.
- Experience with NIEM XML or complex XML standards.
- Manual web-service testing using SOAP UI/Postman.
- Experience with SOA technologies and complex MS SQL queries.
- Proficiency in C# or Java, scripting, and data-driven automation testing.
- Experience with Extent Reports, GitHub, and automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of large integrated systems and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- IBM Rational Jazz Suite experience is a plus.
