ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Clinical support
1. Works closely with staff team, residents and their families to facilitate treatment planning.
2. Monitors all aspects of case management including, treatment goals, assessments, medical care, transportation, and family involvement.
3. Works closely with STTAR Program Director, Residential Management, and DCF representatives with regard to admissions.
4. Provides clinical support for residents and their families.
5. Responsible for individual, group and family treatment.
Administrative Duties.
1. Provides clinical supervision for residential staff.
2. Coordinates in service training programs.
3. Aides Program Director in data compilation.
4. Recruits, trains and supervises student interns.
5. Attends all STTAR staff and treatment plan meetings.
6. Participates in 24 hour on call rotation coverage.
7. Performs other duties as assigned.
Program Management.
1. Monitors and evaluates STTAR treatment model.
2. Coordinates all in house groups.
3. Documents all pertinent data.
4. Writes discharge summaries.
Qualifications: Master's Degree and licensure as an LMSW, LMFT-A, or LPC-A required. Clinical licensure preferred (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC). Must have experience working with youths and their families, preferably in a residential setting, as well as good communication and record-keeping skills, supervisory experience, and must be culturally sensitive. Must also have a valid driver’s license.
Pay within the pay range will be commensurate with license status and experience
Skills: Demonstrate excellent individual, family and group counseling skills. Ability to interface with large social service agencies. Excellent time management and supervisory skills.
