Under general supervision, assumes 24-hour accountability to plan and provide direct professional nursing care for specified patients throughout the entire episode of service delivery as defined by population and unit. Â Provides nursing services to patients and families in accordance with the standards of practice of a professional nurse, CCMC policies & procedures, TJC, and State & federal regulations. Â Reports to Nurse Manager.

MS7 is a very fast paced medical surgical floor with 28 beds where our average patient turnaround and length of stay is between 24 hours to 3 days. We specialize in the care of children with complex Neurology, Cardiology, Pulmonary and Urology conditions as well as other general medical ailments. Our team is family oriented and we pride ourselves on teamwork, discovery, advocacy, communication and providing compassionate care. We work closely with a multitude of specialty areas including both the Neonatal and Pediatric intensive care units. We strive to provide patient and family centered care that incorporates our families input to ensure a comprehensive plan of care. Our goal is to build strong trusting relationships with our patients and families. We look forward to welcoming new team members!
